In spring 2015 we received a call from Yvonne Roza, granddaughter of Alfred Grondahl, a member of the Aurora Ski Club All-Americans in the early 1900s. She offered to donate his club uniform, which dates to 1905. We want to thank Yvonne and the Grondahl family for preserving this wonderful piece of ski jumping history, and for making it a permanent part of our collection! Jerry Borgen of Red Wing, the last active member of the Aurora Ski Club when it disbanded in the early 1950s, is holding the document describing the uniform. Click any photo to view enlarged image!
